Rockingham County's own Jeffrey Sykes reports in his blog today that the staffs of the Eden Daily News and the Madison Messenger are merging with the Reidsville Review (see this scoop from GoDanRiver.com).All three pubs are owned by the Richmond, Va.-owned Media General conglomerate.
Yet, another example of journalism dying a slow death in the Piedmont Triad.
